We are an R&D intensive company with
a rapidly expanding list of technology patents in the area
of Wastewater Treatment, Industrial Mixing and gas-liquid-solid
multiphase reactors for Newtonian and shear thinning fluids.
Whether you are looking to quickly solve
an existing mixing, mass transfer or heat transfer problem,
or looking to develop technology for a near term application,
we can provide you with the breadth and depth of support
you need to succeed. Customers often involve us at an early
stage of their technology implementation or development
cycle, getting the full benefit of our Chemical Engineering,
Mixing and Reactor Design expertise.
Our R&D center is located in State
College, PA. With Mixing equipment ranging from 10 gallon
to 1000 gallon scale tanks, we provide you with a broad
spectrum of vessel sizes to conduct mixing studies and mass
transfer and scaleup analyses. The tanks have transparent
walls (Plexiglas construction) to help visually observe
mixing and multiphase contacting behavior. In addition,
we have an outdoor commercial scale square mixing basin
(273,000 gallons) that we use for aeration research, customer
witness-testing and product demonstrations.
We have effective mass transfer and mixing
models to take the guess-work out of process scale-up. We
use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) effectively to model
and gain the insight necessary to solve reactor design and
mixing problems. Through a combination of our real world
experience, mathematical modeling expertise, CFD capabilities
and our large scale R&D test facility, we can analyze
your mixing challenges and provide you with quick technology
solutions.
Our technology support transcends the
confines of the lab. Where feasible, our engineers and technicians
can bring our engineering analysis and experimental expertise
directly to your facility, for onsite testing and comparisons
of our technologies with other options you may have in mind.
One arena where we have done this quite effectively is for
Wastewater Treatment plant aeration upgrades involving our
novel HI-FLO II technology. Through direct comparisons of
HI-FLO II with other aeration technologies, we have successfully
provided customers with the engineering data and comfort
level needed to switch to a superior energy efficient technology.
Have a problem you want to solve? Looking
for reliable and scalable mixing and reactor technology?
Call us. We may have a ready solution. If not, we can develop
one rapidly.
