The Oppo Find N2 Series was launched at the company’s INNO Day conference in China in 2022. The event saw Oppo debuting its first clamshell folding phone, the Oppo Find N2 Flip, which is set to make its way to the global market soon. While there is no official date for the global launch, recent reports suggest that it may launch in Europe and other markets soon.
Launch Timeline and Expected Specs
According to reliable leakster SnoopyTech, the Oppo Find N2 Flip may launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, which is set to take place on February 27th. This would mean that the smartphone would launch on that date.
The Oppo Find N2 Flip will be Oppo's first clamshell-style foldable smartphone, and it will directly compete with the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The device will come in Astral Black and Moonlit Purple colors, and it will be available with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone will also have support for virtual RAM of up to 8GB, dual SIM and Bluetooth 5.3.
The Oppo Find N2 Flip will come with two displays. The inner display will be a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 21:9 aspect ratio, 1080×2520 pixel resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The outer display will be a 3.26-inch cover display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass and support a 60Hz refresh rate.
The Flip phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset and pack a 4300mAh battery along with 44W SuperVOOC charging. It will be able to charge 25% in 10 minutes.
Camera Setup
The Flip phone will come with a dual-camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. Camera features include Pro mode, portrait mode, panorama, night mode, movie mode, slow-mo, time-lapse, and XPan. There will be a 32MP selfie lens as well. The smartphone will have an IPX4 rating and will run Android 13 out of the box with ColorOS 13 on top.
India Launch
Currently, Oppo India has not announced anything about the India launch of the device, so we’ll have to wait for updates on that front.
